Taverna Fabrika

This cheerful traditional eatery nestled in the trees of Volissos occupies a century-old olive-and-flour mill, where some of the vintage equipment is displayed. Top off excellent grills, mayirefta (ready-cooked meals) and good barrel wine with homemade custard or sweet loukoumadhes (ball-shaped doughnuts served with honey and cinnamon). Above the taverna are six handsome rooms, with fireplaces and wi-fi (triples €50).
