Porofarango

At the start of the gorge in Imbros village, friendly, family-run Porofarango has a big balcony with panoramic views of the gorge and serves good-value Cretan cuisine. The meat is usually the taverna’s own and it often has wild goat. Try the special pork tsigariasto (stew).
