Don't doubt the commitment to 'slow food' at this cosy corner restaurant on the Sakoulevas River. The telltale snail isn't for show: the owner (who found fame with Greek Masterchef) makes his own goat-feta, sausages and other treats, and doesn't cut corners. Salads are enormous, meat is local and ethically raised, and Florina's famous red peppers are roasted before your eyes.
