Aktaion

Just off the tiny Firostefani square, this taverna has been around since 1922 and continues to specialise in traditional island recipes, such as octopus with fava and capers, skordomakarona (homemade pasta with garlic), steamed seasonal greens and mousakas. Sit in the atmospheric cavern or on the outside terrace.
