On the main roundabout in Anopoli, Platanos serves hearty lunches, and is known for its roast lamb (available most weekends in summer) and other homemade local delicacies, such as a tasty boureki (Turkish-influenced filo pie) and rabbit stifadho (stew). The friendly English-speaking owner, Eva Kopasis, can advise about hikes to Loutro and local beaches, and has rooms (doubles €33).
