Topped by a Champagne-bottle-shaped slate turret, this river-facing Jugendstil hotel was built in 1903 by Bruno Möhring, with an oak staircase in the lobby and beautiful stained-glass windows in its gourmet restaurant, Belle Epoque. Individually designed rooms are overwhelmingly romantic. There's a minimum two-night stay on weekends year-round and minimum three-night stay at any time July to October and December.
Amenities include bike and canoe hire, a pool and a sauna.
