Huge trees soar over the passel of tables at this lovely beer garden right off the Promenade near the Aasee. Unsurprisingly it gets very crowded, especially as the food (mains €10 to €20) is just that much better than average beer garden fare – the sausages smokier, the salads fresher.
In cold months, the action moves inside, where there's an ambitious modern German menu.
