Tarte und Törtchen

For desserts that are edible works of art, it's worth the short U-Bahn ride out of town to this rather fabulous patisserie. The cakes and pastries are decadent indeed: from fruit tarts to zingy citrus mousses and millefeuilles. And it's a petite, elegant space for a leisurely breakfast, with its white walls, chandeliers and mishmash of vintage furniture.
