Vichy-Prunelle

Auvergne

This fragrant and oh-so-fancy sweet boutique, founded in 1926, sells pâtes de fruits d'Auvergne (jammy fruit jellies), cables of handmade marshmallow and, of course, the renowned hard candies, pastilles de Vichy. Rainbow-coloured carreaux de Vichy, cubes of marzipan and fruit pulp, are another regional favourite but the house specialities are délices de prunelle, squares of pistachio marzipan and candied fruit.
