A Pérouges institution, this eatery is celebrated for its superb regional dishes such as poulet de Bresse rôti au grand four (roasted chicken), served in a wonderfully rustic dining room complete with exposed beams, stone walls, sturdy wooden tables and a big fireplace. It also doubles as a tearoom, where you can recharge with a side of galette de Pérouges (sugar-crusted tart).
It's usually packed with tour groups at lunchtime.
