Bistro des Augustins

Plastered with old advertising posters from the bouquiniste (second-hand booksellers) stalls opposite, this hybrid bistro-bar manages to remain authentic and down-to-earth despite its epicentral Seine-side location. It's a cosy spot for a glass of red or a light meal such as gratin dauphinois (potato bake). A handful of pavement-set tables overlook the river.
