Overlooking the Bassin de la Villette, this striking 18th-century pavilion was variously used as a customs station, police barracks and salt warehouse before its latest incarnation as a multipurpose venue. A trattoria occupies the light-filled circular atrium; also here are an interior bar, wraparound open-air terrace with an outdoor bar, covered 'greenhouse' terrace, and a nightclub (open Fridays and Saturdays).
