Château de Creissels

In Creissels, 2km southwest of Millau on the D992, this castle's rooms are split between the 12th-century tower (parquet floors, fireplaces, oil paintings) and modern wings (sleek showers, stripped-wood floors, designer lamps; some with balconies overlooking the large garden). Excellent regional cuisine (menus from €28) is served in the restaurant's brick-vaulted cellar and on the panoramic terrace.
