A Bastia institution, still going strong after more than 80 years, this glorious ice-cream parlour tempts with Corsican flavours including chestnut, mandarin, fig, aromatic senteur de maquis (the herbal scent of the wilderness) and sweet myrte (myrtle). In summer, they open an annex by the old port.
