Hotel Mustaparta

Tornio's best hotel by far tells the story of Iisakki Mustaparta (Isaac Blackbeard), an 18th-century leader of local farmers who defied the ruling merchant class, in its bar-restaurant Mustaparran Päämaja, and themed rooms stunningly decorated with wooden floors reflecting his ship's decking, woven willow baskets, fur rugs, cushions and throws. Some rooms open to French balconies.
