An official Danish 'Royal Purveyor', Sømods Bolcher has been producing bolcher (hard candies) since 1891. The original techniques and recipes are still in use, passed down through four generations of the Sømod family. Pearl sugar is heated to 180°C and then shaped by hand (see this Monday to Friday at approximately 10.15am, noon, 1.30pm and 3pm), producing more than 70 varieties of sweets.
