A Prague classic, this traditional, been-here-forever beer hall and microbrewery, located under the arcading of Uhelný trh, is unmissable. The Urquell on tap is all well and good, but the restaurant's own Kočka lager better complements the hefty Bohemian fare on the menu. Every Czech knows this restaurant from its starring role in one of the best-known 1980s films, Vrchní prchni! (Waiter, Scarper!).
