Situated on the left of the main road about 4km east of El Oasis, this Palmares-run finca (farm) knocks out no-frills comida criolla (Creole food). There's also a great swimming pool and horseback-riding excursions. Dining selection is sparse, but the smoked pork chops are surprisingly tasty washed down with a cold Buccanero. The only obstacle to chillaxing is the blaring reggaeton: sound familiar?
Fed by river water constantly circulating out, the swimming pool is clean and refreshingly cool.
