Colonial Cayo Coco

The Spanish-colonial villas with attractively tiled public areas lend the Colonial a refined, cloistered air, as if you've landed in a village rather than another standard, unadorned Cuban all-inclusive. This was the island's first hotel when it opened in 1993 (ancient history by Cayo Coco standards), and it remains a lot more charming than many of its younger siblings.
