The area's most luxurious resort is located on the western flank of the park. It features nicely appointed bungalows with private decks and jaw-dropping mountain views. Hot springs, mud baths and natural saunas are surrounded by greenery. A treatment at the elegant Anáhuac Spa (9am to 5pm) – suspended over the steaming jungle – is the icing on this decadent mud pie.
The resort is accessible via the village of Cañas Dulces. It's 15km past the village on the main road to the entrance, and then another 3km from the entrance to the resort.
