It’s a fine line between hokey and happy. But this restaurant – built around a hundred-year-old higuerón (fig) tree – definitely raises a smile. There’s a menu of well-prepared if overpriced standards, from carpaccio to burgers to comida tipica (regional specialities). The service is spot-on. It’s a lively space to have a bite, linger over wine and occasionally catch live music.
Cold? Try the Chocolate Tree House, a devilish dash of coffee with chocolate-flavored liqueurs.
