On a quiet road just steps from Santa Elena town, this pleasant hostel is run by an attentive Tico couple, Marlenny and Freddy. Well-furnished rooms are bright and clean, if cramped, with new TVs. You’ll also find a communal kitchen, hammocks and – most importantly – an exceedingly warm welcome. All guests are gifted a treat from the family coffee plantation.
You'll pay a bit more for a room with a view.
