Battuto

Considered by many Québécois to be the best Italian restaurant in town, this wonderful place on the edge of St-Roch mixes traditional dishes like vitello tonnato (veal topped with a tuna sauce) with more inventive pasta ones such as Sicilian casarecce served with sweetbreads and sherry. It's a tiny place, with a mere 24 seats, so book well ahead.
