Orange Rouge

Old Montréal

Hidden down a narrow lane of Chinatown, Orange Rouge has a quaint, low-lit interior that's rather nondescript save for the bright open kitchen at one end and a neon-lit crab sculpture on the wall. Grab a seat at the dark lacquered bar or on one of the banquettes for a feast of Asian fusion.

Recent hits include chrysanthemum salad, shrimp-and-cabbage okonomiyaki (Japanese pancake) and fried rice with softshell crab. With great cocktails, a speakeasy-like interior and eclectic dishes, there's nowhere else like it in Chinatown.
