Yes, it’s a bit old-fashioned, but this motel complex on Banff Ave has some of the most consistent rates in town. Cheaper rooms are dowdy, so better to opt for one of the larger, split-level suites, some of which have kitchenettes and mezzanine sleeping areas. Luxury it ain’t, but it’s a reasonable downtown base. Ten-minute walk from downtown.
