Damianitza

Leading Melnik wine producer Damianitza has a shop poised on the main road, shortly after you enter Melnik village. Tastings are free, though they are contrived to lure you to buy. Still, no hard sell is required once you've tasted the dry red Uniqato or oaky No Man's Land cabernet sauvignon. At the time of writing, Damianitza's wine tours were on hiatus due to renovations, but check the website.
