9th Kilometre Complex

Plovdiv

Though it no longer offers camping, this low-price accommodation complex has simple, scantily furnished rooms and apartments (some a little on the musty side) adjoining a gigantic traditional mehana (tavern). The out-of-town location suits day-trippers with their own vehicle who wish to dip in and out Plovdiv and neighbouring towns. Breakfast not included.

It's best to phone for bookings, rather than go through the website. The pool is open between June and mid-September.
