One of Tiradentes’ finest restaurants, Estalagem specializes in classic comida mineira, from frango com quiabo (chicken stewed with okra) to tutu à mineira (a thick puree of mashed beans with garlic and onions). The house specialty, mane sem jaleco, is a tasty, waistline-expanding concoction of rice, beans, bacon, kale, pork loin, onions, fried eggs and bananas.
