This popular corner bar directly opposite the Carmo church serves everything from artisanal beers and cachaça to mixed drinks, coffee, tea and juices. The bakery next door is revered for its fresh-baked whole grain breads served with local cheese, doce de leite (milk caramel) and homemade jam. There's occasional live music.
