Piccolo

São Paulo

Piccolo represents a new breed of Italian restaurants in the city – up-and-coming chef Marcelo Milani, who has grabbed two Michelin Bib Gourmand recognitions in a row, dishes up boot-inspired modern cuisine with farm-to-fork Brazilian ingredients such as artisanal cheeses and seafood netted with sustainable techniques.

Highlights include smoked burrata with Sicilian lime, pesto and tomato powder; and paella-style Sardinian fregula (semolina pasta) with fresh seafood and lardo (cured pork fat). Best to book ahead!
