Coffeeshop, bar, restaurant and hip community meeting place all combine in the lovable little triangle of creativity that is Bar Stan, around 15 minutes' walk south from Leuven's centre.

Drink coffee with the early morning laptop brigade, grab an open-sandwich lunch, a stuffed-zucchini dinner, or linger after 9pm for the evening spritzes, guest beers and natural wines. Sunday brunches (in two shifts, at 10am or 12.30pm) are so popular that some people book a month ahead. Staff members are a good info source for nightlife and other goings-on around town.
