Leuven City Hostel/Hotel Ladeuze

Leuven

This small, 'grown-ups' hostel is appealingly low key with a comfy games lounge, a quality kitchen and a little smokers' courtyard area. Check in via the neat new Hotel Ladeuze (www.hotelladeuze.com), whose 16 well-appointed en suite rooms are well worth considering in their own right.

Reception for both closes at 8pm but the kitchen-lounge stays open with free tea and Senseo coffee. Wi-fi is patchy. The hostel's small dorms have a fair number of powerpoints but no reading lights. Linen (but not towels or soap) is provided. The simple buffet breakfast (€7.50) is included in some quoted rates.
