Domaine des Hautes Fagnes

The Ardennes

This semi-rural family getaway, just 2km from the Botrange Nature Centre, is very well placed for walking or skiing, but also has things covered for those bad-weather days with its wellness centre, including sauna and small indoor pool (€20 extra). The building is an architecturally challenged, two-storey 1970s maze but the oddly shaped rooms have been fully renovated.

The surrounding lawns include a rather tired children's playground area. The buffet breakfast costs €20 per person.
