Artner

A double-height wall of wine bottles (including vintages from the owners' vineyard) links Artner's ground-floor wood-panelled dining room and romantic vaulted brick cellar. Locally reared, dry-aged Austrian steaks are its signature; there are also Austrian dishes like Tafelspitz. Tables set up on the square opposite in the shadow of the Renaissance-style Franziskanerkirche in summer. Service is outstanding.
