A good job's been done making a cosy restaurant out of this high-ceilinged former commercial space. It's a pleasure to watch the chef at work from the bar. There are some great flavour combinations, like tangy yuzu offsetting deliciously greasy pork belly, or soy vinegar adding gravitas to vanilla ice cream, as well as more traditional Japanese comfort food.
