Sweet little Subo gets everything right, from the generous attitude of its enthusiastic young team to its interesting wine selection and romantic atmosphere, particularly in the rear conservatory. The five-course dinner is beautifully presented, with dietary requirements superbly catered for. Optional oyster and cheese courses, plus moreish sourdough, add ballast to a feast of innovative, flavoursome dishes that are creative but without frippery.
